Mauro Tardivo, graduated in transverse flute at the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory in Turin under the guidance of Arturo Danesin.  Subsequently he attended, for three years, the High School of Fiesole under the guidance of Mario Ancillotti, graduating with full marks and honors.
 

Absolute winner of the City of Chieti Competition in 1985.
Overall winner of the "Francesco Cilea" National Competition of Palmi in 1988.
 

He collaborated with the Rai Radiotelevisione Italiana Symphony Orchestra of Turin and played the part of first flute in the Civic Wind Orchestra of the City of Turin until 1995.
 

He has several recordings to his credit  for Radio Suisse Romande for a series of live chamber concerts held in the autumn of 1987 under the guidance and collaboration of violist Bruno Giuranna.
 

He has collaborated for some productions of Aterballetto di Reggio Emilia playing in live trio.
 

He played in a duo with the pianist Claudio Voghera, holding several concerts throughout the country.
 

Winner of the national competition for the assignment of professorships in transverse flute in the Italian Conservatories in 1991 and entered the national ranking.
 

Currently he continues to carry out teaching and concert activities.
